If you have a lot of interest in a particular topic, you may want to join a forum about it. A forum is basically where you can choose from a category listed on the internet pertaining to a pretty broad topic. For instance, if you find a basketball one, there might be a section about history, one about news, one about tips and one about food recommendations After choosing one you may see al list of "threads" (the titles of the first posts about a subject someone puts) which you can choose from to read. After having viewed what the person put, you'll find that people have the option of replying to it, and you may perhaps also do that if you become a member of the forum site.
You might even want to make a list of different forums available about that topic and join each if you're interested enough in the topic! This would give you something perhaps interesting to look forward to often, and could be of tremendous help for whatever it is you would try to do pertaining to the topic. You'll likely find many in a search engine.
One very interesting idea is to try to partake in a debate forum. Of course try not to personally insult anybody, but a fiery debate on the other hand is a great way of analyzing your own beliefs, or stance on a certain topic, as well as possibly understanding someone else's. It'd be especially interesting if one person in the debate would end up changing his or her mind as a result!
Certain forums may even be used for the sake of Internet Marketing. Internet Marketing is being paid a certain amount of money per sale of one or more products online. One example of it is promoting one on a website, and attempting to being traffic to that website with articles. Check this out.
